Black dresser $299.00 (Sold) Will deliver within 40 miles for $375.00

Beautiful dresser, painted black and lightly distressed.  Stained wood planked top.  The dresser is made by Basset.
I usually don't paint with black, but this turned out amazing.  I think I will do the next on the same:)

  5. Do you mind mentioning what color black you chose? It's such a beautiful, soft color, exactly what I'm looking for to do a piece of furniture myself.

  8. Sorry I haven't looked at my blog for a long time :). I wouldn't know what kind of paint for sure because it's been so long. But usually when I need black I would buy the walmart Crayola kind but I don't know if they still make it.
The wood on top is just pine 1 x4's, the cheaper grade. I would stagger the pieces on to try and make it look planked. I glued and screwed each piece and left the screws visible. I sanded with an angle grinder to add a lot of distressing to the lumber

  16. Im interested in doing something simular. Can you tell me the color? It looks like a soft black rather than a jet dark black. I love it.
